Aims & Scope
Asian Communication Research (ACR) is a refereed international publication that features cutting-edge scholarship in all areas of communication and media studies from Asian perspectives while contributing to the understanding of communication phenomena around the world.
Asian perspectives may underlie any aspects of the research including, but not limited to research phenomena, topics, context, data, and authorship.
ACR also broadly defines Asia to include the Asia-Pacific region, Asian communities worldwide, and cross-cultural or international contexts, inviting submissions from diverse geographic areas and cultures for an international readership.
ACR aims to present research on the processes, effects, and systems of communication with an Asian focus, without limits to topics, methodological approaches, and theoretical perspectives.
ACR covers Asian media and relevant in the following areas: Journalism, Mass communication, Cultural studies, Communication technologies, Political communication, Health communication, Organizational communication, Advertising, and Public relations.
