Aims & Scope
ASAP/Journal is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to exploring new developments in the post-1960s visual, media, literary, and performance arts as well as their historical provenance and global intersections.
As the scholarly journal of ASAP, the journal seeks to promote dialogue between artists and critics across the contemporary arts and humanities.
Recognizing the increasingly interdisciplinary nature of contemporary art and criticism across the globe, ASAP/ Journal presents pioneering scholarship in numerous genres and platforms, including scholarly articles, interviews, dialogues, and book reviews.
The journal publishes methodologically cutting edge, conceptually adventurous, and historically nuanced research and essays concerning the arts of the present, broadly conceived.
