Aims & Scope
The primary aim of the "Artifex Novus" journal is to conduct and coordinate research in the field of ancient and contemporary art history, including the exchange of research results on a national and international level, as well as the dissemination of research conducted by employees of the Institute of Art History at the Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw.
As a national journal, "Artifex Novus" addresses a wide range of research problems, focusing primarily on Polish art of the past and present, covering both current and historical territories of the Republic of Poland.
The journal publishes original scientific articles (previously unpublished), reviews, conference reports, and other communications related to the activities of the Institute.
