Aims & Scope

Archivos de Zootecnia is an international scientific quarterly journal, founded in 1952 by the Institute of Animal Husbandry of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Córdoba and published by the University of Cordoba and the Iberoamerican Association of Zootechnics.

It includes unpublished works written in Spanish, English or Portuguese whose purpose is to disseminate the results of research in animal production and related areas, with particular attention to livestock systems in disadvantaged areas and developing their local breeds and alternative livestock production.

Archivos de Zootecnia publishes articles, short notes, literature reviews and letters to the editor, which are subject to a strict evaluation process.
