Aims & Scope
Archalp is an international journal that publishes original research and reviews on architecture and landscape in the Alpine region. The journal aims to promote interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration among architects, landscape architects, urban planners, and other stakeholders involved in the design and development of mountainous areas.
The journal's scope includes, but is not limited to, the following topics:
Architecture and Landscape in the Alpine Region: The journal publishes articles on the design, construction, and conservation of buildings, landscapes, and urban spaces in the Alpine region, with a focus on their cultural, social, and environmental significance.
Interdisciplinary Approaches: Archalp encourages the submission of articles that integrate multiple disciplines, such as architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, sociology, anthropology, ecology, and environmental science, to address the complex challenges facing the Alpine region.
Case Studies and Best Practices: The journal publishes case studies and best practices on innovative projects, policies, and strategies that promote sustainable development, environmental protection, and social equity in the Alpine region.
