Aims & Scope
Published continuously since 1868, this journal focuses on the ancient peoples who lived on the territory of Hungary, in the Carpathian Basin and the archaeological heritage of the Hungarian people, offering at the same time a good overview of new directions in and new findings of Hungarian archaeology, as well as news of various conferences and new excavations.
The journal also has a section that offers reviews of newly published Hungarian and foreign archaeological books that contributes to the flow of information about new directions in archaeology, about archaeology as a discipline and the role of this discipline in society.
