Aims & Scope
Applied Microbiology (ISSN 2673-8007) provides an advanced forum for studies related to the application of microorganisms, with a strong emphasis on biotechnology, environment, medicine, and food.
It publishes original scientific research articles, comprehensive reviews, comments, commentaries, perspectives, etc.
Our aim is to encourage scientists to publish their experimental and theoretical results in as much detail as possible.
There is no restriction on the maximum length of the papers.
The full experimental details must be provided so that the results can be reproduced.
Electronic files and software regarding the full details of the calculation or experimental procedure, if unable to be published in a normal way, can be deposited as supplementary electronic material.
Scope: • Microbial structure, growth, and metabolism • Process and products • Industrial microorganisms, fermentation, downstream processing, and product development • Microbial enzymes, fuels, and industrial chemicals • Enzymology and protein engineering • Healthcare products • Food and beverage fermentation, food additives and supplements • Microbial biomass production • Microbial biodeterioration of materials • Applied genetics and molecular biotechnology • Applied microbial and cell physiology • Environmental biotechnology • Antimicrobial agents • Microbiomes • Biofilms
