Aims & Scope
Anos 90 is the open access e-journal of the Postgraduate Program in History at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (PPGH / UFRGS).
It aims to disseminate advanced and recent research in the area of history and related areas which contributes to the production of historical knowledge and fosters discussion and research.
Anos 90 publishes original and unpublished articles resulting from recent research carried out in History and related areas in Portuguese, English, and Spanish .
All manuscripts have been approved in the blind peer review process either in continuous flow or for thematic dossiers.
Annually the Anos 90 publish a call for submission of proposals of thematic dossiers that are evaluated by the Executive Editorial Committee and external experts.
The organizers of the approved proposals are responsible for suggesting to the Editorial Committee the evaluators of the articles submitted to the dossier.
The articles submitted to the dossiers undergo the same blind peer review process that the articles and reviews submitted in a continuous flow.
Anos 90 may also publish interviews, translations, and historical documents if the Editorial Committee, the dossiers organizers, and the Advisory Board regard them as relevant.
