Aims & Scope
Objective: Advances in Laboratory Medicine / Avances en Medicina de Laboratorio (Adv Lab Med) is the official journal of the Spanish Society of Laboratory Medicine (SEQCML).
Adv Lab Med publishes contributions in the field of medical sciences, including Biochemistry, Hematology, Toxicology, Microbiology and Parasitology, Immunology, and Genetics.
Articles focusing on the choice, performance or interpretation of clinical tests are especially welcome.
Adv Lab Med publishes quarterly.
All contributions submitted for publication in Adv Lab Med are single-blind peer reviewed by at least two experts in the field, selected and invited by the Editor-in-Chief.
Adv Lab Med is an Open Access journal with an international board of renowned editors.
Authors are not charged for manuscript processing and Open Access publication.
SEQCML covers processing and publication charges.
The Society plays no role in the selection and publication of the articles, nor does it influence peer review.
Adv Lab Med is a bilingual journal, and all articles are published in both English and Spanish.
