Aims & Scope

The journal “Acta Linguistica Petropolitana.

Transactions of the Institute for Linguistic Studies” was founded by Nikolay N.

Kazansky in 2003.

It is a peer-reviewed journal publishing articles on current linguistic issues.

The key topics addressed include theoretical linguistics, comparative, areal linguistics and linguistic typology, the Russian language and other languages of the Russian Federation, as well as language acquisition, history of linguistics, sociolinguistics, corpus linguistics, linguistic pragmatics, and related disciplines.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject manuscripts that fall outside these lines of research.
