Acta Agronomica Hungarica is an international journal on the theoretical and applied aspects of cultivated plants.

It publishes papers, short communications, review articles and book reviews chiefly on traditional, organic and modern agricultural and horticultural technologies, agricultural ecology, traditional, organic and molecular breeding, genebank research, the effect of climate change on the agricultural environment, and agronomic modelling.

Priority is given to crops that can also be cultivated in Europe.
