Aims & Scope

The Journal of Agroecology is a scientific-research journal that focuses on agricultural research activities that prioritize the protection of natural resources and the environment.

Our scope includes:

Agricultural research activities that rely on ecological principles, such as:

Crop management with biological inputs,

Conservation tillage operations,

Integrated operations in agricultural management, and

Ecological management of pests, diseases, and weeds.

We also explore the use of alternative resources, such as alternative energy sources and biological fertilizers, as well as the application of ecological economics perspectives in crop production.

Our aim is to promote an alternative type of agriculture that is based on ecological principles and minimizes the negative consequences of industrial agriculture, such as soil erosion, pollution, and global warming.
