Aims & Scope

Water Harvesting Research (WHR) is an international, open access, scholarly publication that aims to provide a medium for dissemination of innovative and consequential papers within water harvesting context in its widest sense.

The journal's principal aim is to conform to high scientific and technical standards, covering a broader field than usual specialist journals and allowing readers to see their particular interest related to water resources management as a whole.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, the following topic areas:

Rainwater and floodwater harvesting, optimum use of water harvested resources, socioeconomic impacts of water harvesting practices, policy frameworks and governance, interdisciplinary approaches, sustainable practices and community engagement, case studies on successful water harvesting implementations, water harvesting and soil moisture conservation, wastewater management, and climate change impacts on water harvesting systems.
