Since 2015, VTEI has again been published as an independent scientific journal with a periodicity of six issues per year with its own web presentation.
The VTEI journal has a distinct multidisciplinary character, as it covers a wide area of water management from hydrology, hydrogeology, hydraulics, hydrobiology, hydrochemistry, hydroinformatics, cartography in water management, radioecology, applied ecology, via water technology, water industry, wastewater treatment, waste management, restoration, water quality, pollution control, to the economics of water management or social issues related to water and the sustainable use of water resources.
In addition to original scientific and review (state of the art) studies and discussion articles, the journal also publishes data articles, reviews, and informative articles about projects, symposia, conferences and exhibitions, as well as interviews with important figures in the field.
