U.Porto Journal of Engineering

Aims & Scope

U.Porto Journal of Engineering (ISSN 2183-6493), a publication of the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in several areas of engineering.

The subject areas covered by the journal include all areas related to engineering such as chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering and materials engineering.

The journal publishes both research and review articles in those areas.

UPjeng is managed to be issued twice in every volume in the first quarter (April) and in the last quarter of the year (November), considering publication of special issues related to engineering conferences selected papers.

All papers are double blinded peer-reviewed by at least two referees, to guarantee the quality of its content, structure and language.

Plagiarism screening will be conducted by the Editorial Board using Turnitin.

To help support the maintenance of the Journal and its sustainability, 'Article Processing Charges' (APC) are requested to authors.

APCs include peer-reviewing, editing, publishing, maintaining and archiving (more information at Open Access Policy).

The Journal allows immediate access to the full text versions of the published articles.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
