Unconventional Resources is an open access journal with a particular focus on energy transition and achieving net-zero emission targets.

We welcome original research articles, review articles, short communications and policy briefs.

Topics covered include: • Fields of geologic, geophysical, and engineering aspects of unconventional resources in sedimentary basins • Nonhydrocarbon energy resources, including geothermal resources, solar energy, hydrogen resources in earth, Helium resources, and so on • Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) • The application of artificial intelligence and machine learning in the above fields
