Aims & Scope
The publication of the first issue of this journal dates back to 1945 as the first scientific journal in Iran.
Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) is the oldest and the main university of the country.
Our journal is one of the TUMS publications releasing monthly; written in Persian language with English language abstracts and references.
The main scope of this open access journal is basic and clinical medical studies from Iranian and international authors.
Editorial Boards of TUMJ are specialists in all fields of basic and clinical medical sciences from all over the world.
Nevertheless our target audience includes the entire medical personnel worldwide depending upon their access to the journal and the feasibility for us to place it at their disposal.
