Aims & Scope
The journal Sudebno-meditsinskaya ekspertiza was founded in 1958 with a view to highlighting the most important theoretical and practical aspects of forensic medical expertise with special reference to thanatology, traumatology, toxicology, serology, forensic obstetrics, stomatology, and chemistry, physico-technical methods of investigation, history of forensic medicine, selected problems of criminal surveys and procedural legislation pertaining to forensic medicine.
The journal publishes results of original investigations of domestic and foreign authors, casuistry reports, reviews of the literature and book reviews, scientific information, reports of scientific meetings, and extensive forensic medical materials of importance for public health services including medical errors encountered in diagnostic and therapeutic practices, the problem of sudden death, etc.
