Abbreviation : Strateg. Plan. Energy Environ.
Aims & Scope
The scope of the SPEE journal is broad and multidimensional, including fundamental concepts in energy and environmental theories and practices, experiments, phenomenon analysis, implementation, and policies.
Contributions to general theoretical approach to energy and the environment with reference to sustainability and development in the context of local, regional and global setting are also highly encouraged.
The SPEE covers all topics at the core and the interfaces of energy and the environment nexus that are of interest to the science and professional communities.
The journal focuses on those articles that provide sound knowledge base for basic and applied research associated with the development and evaluation of technological and administrative pathways that minimize environmental impacts of energy life cycles.
Some of the trans-disciplinary areas within the scope of journal include, energy and environment nexus including energy and environmental theories and practices, green technologies, environmental friendly energy systems, low carbon energy production and use, sustainable consumption of energy resources, environmental impacts of energy production, climate change-induced energy and environmental uncertainties, interlinkages between energy and environmental resources and sustainability, environmental governance, legislation, and environmental policies for sustainable energy production, renewable and alternative energy resources, energy, environment and socio-cultural nexus, energy conservation, conservation, efficiencies, greenhouse gases, biosphere, biodiversity, bioenergy, biofuels, and biomass, climate change, energy conservation, deforestation, and ecosystem health, emissions, air quality and atmospheric science, environmental impact assessment, recycling and waste management, international treaties and initiatives in relation to energy, environment, and climate, and sustainable development.
