Aims & Scope

Journal of Experiments in Fluid Mechanics was founded in 1987 with the name Aerodynamic Experiments and Measurement Control.

In 1997 it was renamed as Fluid Mechanics Experiments and Measurements, and in 2005 the present name was put to use.

Sponsored by China Aerodynamics Research Society, the journal is a synthesis of academic and technical developments publically released bimonthly.

The present editor in chief is academician Jialing Le.

The main interest of the journal is placed on new information, cutting edge achievements and novel trends in the field of experimental fluid mechanics, particularly aerodynamics.

With the guiding ideology of combining theory with practice, it puts emphasis on the innovation, novelty and practicability of the papers.

The journal is composed of columns of progress review, fluid mechanics experimental theory, experimental research and technology, experimental validation of CFD, project assessment and so on.

It is intended for technicians, researchers and students active in the fields related to experimental fluid mechanics.
