Aims & Scope
Sedimentary Geology and Tethyan Geology is an academic journal of earth science under the supervision of China Geological Survey and sponsored by Chengdu Center, China Geological Survey (Geosciences Innovation Center of Southwest China).
Sedimentary Geology and Tethyan Geology was founded in 1981 under the name “Lithofacies Paleogeography Research and Mapping Newsletter”, and was later renamed “Lithofacies Paleogeography”.
In 2000, it was merged with Tethys Geology, which was founded in 1994, and was renamed “Sedimentary Geology and Tethyan Geology“ (Quarterly).
It is being indexed and abstracted in a number of domestic and international renowned databases and journal lists, including: Chemical Abstracts (CA), Database of Japan Science & Technology Agency (JST), Chinese Science Citation Database (CSCD), World Journal Clout Index(WJCI),China Journal Full-text Database(CJFD), Chinese Scientific and Technical Papers and Citations Database, Scopus Database, Core Journal of China, ect.
