Aims & Scope
Each issue publishes articles by authors seeking the academic degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences.
The subject of the journal is devoted to the problem of pain and covers many scientific areas related to the physiology and pathophysiology of pain, methods of assessing and diagnosing pain, clinical features of nociceptive, neuropathic and dysfunctional pain syndromes and methods of therapy.
The articles reflect the most modern ideas about the etiopathogenesis of pain syndromes, the clinical picture, modern methods of drug and non-drug therapy, prevention and rehabilitation of patients with various forms of chronic pain.
Scientific literature reviews and lectures on the problem of pain are regularly published.
All articles are accompanied by a bibliography with full source citation.
The journal is included in the list of leading peer-reviewed journals and publications of the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, in which the scientific results of dissertations for the academic degrees of candidate and doctor of science should be published.
