La RECOM es el órgano de expre­sión científica de la Sociedad Española de Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial (SECOM).

Revista Española de Cirugía Oral y Maxilofacial publica trabajos de relevancia en el campo de la cirugía oral y maxi­lofacial en español e inglés.

La Revista está indexada en Scopus y en la colección Open Access de ScienceDirect.

Todos los manuscritos se someten a una valoración efectua­da por expertos (peer review), ajenos al Comité de Redacción de la Revista, que realiza una valoración de los artículos de doble ciego.
