Revista de la Asociacion Geologica Argentina
Published by Asociacion Geologica Argentina
ISSN : 0004-4822
Abbreviation : Rev. Asoc. Geol. Argent.
Aims & Scope
The AGA has a policy of free publication and open access.
However, the Association and the journal are maintained with the contribution of its members.
Authors who are not active members may publish in the Journal up to 12 pages in edited format, bearing the cost of layout of the extra pages.
When the first author or half of the authors are members of the AGA, the following section policy will apply: Articles: The length of the text, including the summary, abstract, and the list of cited works, must not exceed 20 pages in its final print format, including figures and tables (one edited page of text is equivalent to 2.5 manuscript pages in the review format).
The summary and abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Exceptionally, the editors may consider publishing longer works.
The time between submission and final publication will depend on the number of papers in the waiting list, but the editorial review process will not exceed six months.
The final publication will be available within two months after acceptance.
At the end of this period, the work will be displayed on the platform and can be consulted in its accepted format without final editing.
Short Notes: They must present significant new findings.
The length should not exceed 6 pages in the edited format (one edited page of text is equivalent to 2.5 manuscript pages), including the summary (resumen) and abstract (maximum 250 words) and up to two figures.
They will receive special editorial treatment and be published as a priority.
