The Revista Colombiana de Dermatología y Cirugía Dermatológica is an international, peer-reviewed and online scientific journal, where articles from anywhere in the world are welcome.
Its subject is exclusively based on diseases and care of the skin.
It is an open access magazine.
The journal has been published continuously since 1991, only with a brief interruption in 1997, and since 2003 it has been published quarterly.
The manuscripts are subject to a double-blind arbitration by scientific peers selected by the Editorial Committee.
The journal is committed to publish original and unpublished articles on dermatology research, review articles, reflection articles and case reports.
Its content is essentially of a scientific nature, although eventually there may be contributions of a guild or informative nature when they are of particular importance.
Its main objective is to contribute to the formation of the academic community.
The abbreviated title of the Revista Colombiana de Dermatología y Cirugía Dermatológica is Rev Asoc Colomb Dermatol and it must be used in footnotes, figure legends and bibliographic references.
