Abbreviation : Rev. Argent. Cirugia (argentina
Aims & Scope
The Revista Argentina de Cirugía is the official scientific publication of the Asociación Argentina de Cirugía (Argentine Association of Surgery).
It aims to disseminate original contributions to knowledge in the field of surgery and is aimed at health professionals who are interested in its different aspects.
Its frequency is quarterly.
It is a bilingual publication, in Spanish and English, since its full texts and abstracts are presented in both languages.
It includes articles related to various aspects of surgery (clinical and basic research, updated reviews, education, history, bioethics, clinical cases, etc.) that are initially evaluated by the Editorial Board.
They are then subjected to external peer review, double blind, not open, who assign a score of 0-100 and decide whether they are acceptable in their original state, with major changes, with minor changes or if they are rejected.
The Editorial Committee makes the final decision about whether or not to publish an article.
This decision is primarily based on the opinion of the external reviewers.
All submitted articles must be unpublished.
The Revista Argentina de Cirugía does not admit duplication of articles (whether in national, foreign, indexed or not, or in different languages), nor does it accept articles sent simultaneously to other publications for review.
No published material may be partially or totally reproduced without the prior authorization of the Journal's Editorial Committee.
