Aims & Scope

Founded in 1957, Railway Standard Design, formerly known as Railway Standard Design Bulletin.

It was renamed to the current title in 1992.

The journal is governed by China Railway Engineering Group Limited, sponsored by China Railway Engineering Design and Consulting Group Co., Ltd., and published by Editorial Office of Railway Standard Design.

It is a scientific journal published and distributed worldwide. ■ Publication Frequency: Railway Standard Design is a monthly journal.

The print edition is published on the 20th of each month, with articles online on the journal's official website prior to the print publication date. ■Publishing Scope: construction and design of railroad and urban rail transit line, roadbed, track, bridge, tunnel and underground engineering, station, machine service, electric power, electric traction, communication, signal, water supply and drainage, railway/subway station; standard formulation, revision, explanation, amendment for railroad construction; promotion of new standard; etc. ■Columns include: Special Contribution, Planning/Transportation, Route/Subgrade/Track, Bridge Engineering, Tunnel/Underground Engineering, Railway Passenger Station/Subway Station, Communications/Signals, Electrics/Electrification, Locomotive Maintenance, Environmental Engineering, HVAC, Standard and Code.
