Aims & Scope
Quantum Frontiers is a peer-reviewed and open access journal that publishes the finest research on quantum science, especially focused on the interface between condensed matter physics and quantum information science.
The journal will try to develop and encourage academic communications among those scientists who are active at the frontiers of quantum science.
Research areas covered in the journal include, but not limited to: -Quantum materials possessing interesting physical properties, such as topological insulators and superconductors, 2D materials, quantum magnetism, other strongly entangled many-body systems, including their fundamental properties, fabrication and applications. -Artificial quantum structures, quantum liquids and quantum solids, Bose-Einstein condensation and superfluidity, ultracold atoms and related systems. -Quantum optics and photonics aiming to storage, processing and communication of quantum information, with cavity QED, quantum metamaterials, quantum photonic devices, quantum networks etc. -Quantum computing, quantum simulation and quantum communication based on solid state devices, such as majorana fermions, magnetic topological insulators, novel topological quantum states and topological heterostructures, and also optical devices, such as optical cavities, optical logic gates and optomechanical systems.
The articles published in this journal will be peer-reviewed by independent, anonymous referees.
The journal will try to develop and encourage academic communications among those scientists who are active at the frontiers of quantum science.
