Psychological Inquiry

Aims & Scope

Psychological Inquiry is an international journal devoted to advancing theory in psychology.

Each issue includes a lengthy target article followed by peer commentaries and a response from the target author(s).

Manuscripts for the target articles can be invited or submitted and should present new, broad, provocative theories, primarily in the areas of personality and social psychology.

We discourage submission of purely empirical, applied, or review articles.

Manuscripts for the commentaries are always invited.

Authors for the commentaries are chosen by the editor with input from the target authors.
