Aims & Scope

Protein & Cell publishes original research and review articles concerning the latest developments in multidisciplinary areas of biology and biomedicine, and has an emphasis on mechanistic studies at the molecular and cellular levels.

Manuscripts with innovative ideas and/or approaches that bridge different fields are considered with priority.

The main subject areas include, but are not limited to, biochemistry/biophysics, cell biology, developmental biology, genetics, immunology, microbiology, molecular biology, neuroscience, oncology, plant science, protein science, structural biology, and translational medicine.
