Aims & Scope

Prosthetics and Orthotics International is a peer-reviewed international, multidisciplinary journal for all professionals who have an interest in the medical, clinical, rehabilitation, technical, educational and research aspects of prosthetics (artificial limbs), orthotics (braces) and rehabilitation engineering, as well as their related topics.

Our readership includes prosthetists, orthotists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation medicine physicians, kinesiologists, engineers, rehabilitation technicians, researchers, and educators.

Authors interested in submitting articles to are encouraged to peruse articles published in past issues to assess whether their submission would align with the journal’s readership.
