Aims & Scope

The Progress in Physics of Applied Materials (PPAM) is an open-access journal that publishes biannual and is an international medium for publishing experimental and theoretical papers on physics of materials having wide varieties of applications. Interdisciplinary articles are also welcome.

The PPAM journal publishes original research articles, reviews (both short and specific or long and general), short communications, and letters within its scope. The papers should contain extensive and novel experimental and theoretical works with rigorous analysis and sound interpretation.

The scope of the journal includes:

Thin Films & Nanomaterial Synthesis: Chemical vapor deposition, Combustion, Electrodeposition, Liquid phase epitaxy, Metal organic vapor phase epitaxy, Molecular beam epitaxy, Physical vapor deposition, Sol-gel, Spin coating, Sputtering, Vapor phase epitaxy

Crystal Growth: Growth from solution, Growth from vapor, Growth from melt, Growth from solid phases

Processing: Mechanical treatment, Laser treatment, Chemical treatment, Heat treatment

Characterization: Electrical, Optical, Structural, Electrochemical, Morphological, Magnetic

Applications: Smart materials, Batteries, Super capacitor, Energy generation, Electrochromic, Fuel cells, Solar cells, Magnetic applications, Energy storage systems, Semiconductor devices, Laser, Sensors and detectors, Biological applications

This scope aims to improve the electrical, optical, dielectric, and magnetic properties of new materials. The scope of the journal also covers the theoretical and analytical papers.
