Aims & Scope

Pleura and Peritoneum is an Open Access, peer-reviewed journal, focusing on the organs pleura and peritoneum.

It is the official journal of the International Society for the Study of Pleura and Peritoneum (ISSPP).

The journal is issued quarterly.

All contributions submitted for publication are single-blind reviewed by at least two renowned experts in the field, selected and invited by the Editor-in-Chief.

All submissions will be subject to a rapid peer-review process, allowing a first decision within 3-4 weeks of submission.

Pleura and Peritoneum publishes only English-language articles and accepts research articles and short communications of experimental and clinical results, and biochemical and anatomical findings, and reviews, mini reviews, opinion papers and editorials.
