Aims & Scope

The aim of PEDIATRÍA INTEGRAL is to develop a comprehensive ongoing training program focused, preferably, on Primary Care and out-of-hospital pediatricians, as well as on all those professionals interested in Pediatrics, such as professionals from other medical specialties and pediatric residents in training (MIR).

PEDIATRÍA INTEGRAL is the Official Journal of the Spanish Society of Out-of-hospital and Primary Care Pediatrics (Sociedad Española de Pediatría Extrahospitalaria y Atención Primaria (SEPEAP)).

PEDIATRÍA INTEGRAL publishes review articles in Spanish on clinical and experimental aspects in the field of Pediatrics, including biochemical, physiological and preventive aspects.

It accepts contributions from any author provided its previous request by the Executive Committee of the journal, and as long as it has not been previously published or submitted for consideration to another journal.

PEDIATRÍA INTEGRAL accepts unsolicited articles: in the form of images and clinical cases (preferably of diagnostic interest regarding pathology present in Primary Care pediatrics), as well as letters to the editor (as a forum for comments and discussions about the contents of previous publications).

Likewise, PEDIATRÍA INTEGRAL can publish other contributions, such as: articles on topics of special interest or reviews on anatomical-physiological bases or medical management.
