PEC Innovation is an interdisciplinary journal which aims to explore and elucidate new developments and innovation in the fields of health promotion, health education, and health communication.

The sibling journal to Patient Education and Counseling, the journal gives emphasis to work bringing patient perspectives into the design, implementation, and evaluation of interventions intended to improve health and transform healthcare delivery.

Areas of particular interest include: -Development of new instruments for assessment and research- Novel interventions to promote health- Advancement of health communication at all levels, including e-health and e-learning- Education and empowering patients and other stakeholders in healthcare
