Molecular and Cellular Biochemistry: An International Journal for Chemical Biology in Health and Disease publishes original research papers and short communications in all areas of biomedical sciences, emphasizing novel findings relevant to the biochemical and molecular basis of cellular function in physiological and pathological conditions, as well as the mechanisms of action of hormones and chemical agents.

Coverage includes membrane transport, metabolic processes, signal transduction, receptor mechanisms, immune responses, secretory processes, and cytoskeletal function.

This journal also deals with cellular regulation, cellular death and regeneration, translational medicine as well as structure-function relationships in the cell.

In addition to articles on original research, the journal publishes State-of-the-art Reviews.
