Aims & Scope
“Modern Gastroenterology” is an official scientific periodic edition of the L.
T.
Mala National Therapy Institute of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine and Institute of Gastroenterology of the National Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine.
The Journal has been published since 2000 and is a peer-reviewed specialized scientific and practical publication with an open access to published content, an important source of the latest and objective information for gastroenterologists, therapists, doctors of family medicine and general practice.
The main objective of the Journal is a comprehensive coverage of the achievements of theoretical and practical medicine in the field of gastroenterology, support of the perspective scientific research, innovational ideas, exchange with information and experience between specialists-gastroenterologists, promotion of continuous educational process aimed on the improvement of medical services’ quality in Ukraine. “Modern Gastroenterology” publishes papers in the sections "Original studies", "Reviews", "Clinical case", "Lectures", "Standards and consensuses" by the following topics: the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical course of the diseases of digestive organs, the pediatric and geriatric gastroenterology, modern achievements in the clinical, laboratory and instrumental diagnostics.
