The Microbe is an open access, peer-reviewed international journal that welcomes research on all aspects of microbiology.

We consider quantitative and qualitative research articles and review articles, including negative findings, regional studies and multidisciplinary work.

We believe that all scientifically accurate research is valuable and should be accessible to every researcher.
