Aims & Scope

Mediterranean Botany (ISSNe 2603-9109) publishes original research in the field of Botany, including plant systematics, biogeography, evolutionary biology, ecophysiology, community ecology, ethnobotany and conservation biology, with a geographic scope on Mediterranean biomes around the world.

Research on other bioclimatic regions or biomes is only accepted when addressing questions with interest to the geographic scope of the journal (e.g. evolutionary lineages related to current plant diversity in Mediterranean biomes) or in the context of special issues focused on wide topics of plant sciences.
