As of July 01, 2008 the journal has been published by the State Scientific Center of the Russian Federation - A.I.

Burnazyan Federal Medical Biophysical Center, the Russian Federal Medical-Biological Agency.

The journal as well as aims to timely inform the reader on the new data, or developments in the field of radiobiology, radiation medicine, radiation safety carried out in Russian and foreign research institutes and agencies of the leading scientific and organizational departments (NCRP, ICRP, UNSCEAR, IAEA, etc.).
