Aims & Scope
Materials Today Catalysis, part of the Materials Today Family of journals, is a multidisciplinary gold open access journal publishing cutting-edge research in the area of fundamental and applied catalysis, in both academia and industry.
The mission of Materials Today Catalysis is to be an efficient platform to maximize the impact of high-quality work across chemistry, material science, energy and environment, life science, and other related areas.
Materials Today Catalysis seeks to publish experimental and theoretical papers in all fields of catalysis-heterogeneous catalysis, molecular catalysis, and biocatalysis-that will address the current challenges in their fields.
Selected papers should present novel synthesis strategies, advanced technologies, ground-breaking concepts, and solid data that are recognized by the research community.
This journal gives particular emphasis to articles that provide insights into atomic-scale catalytic processes, catalyst design principles, and real-world catalyst implementations.
Materials Today Catalysis welcomes comprehensive research articles, short communications, review articles, perspectives, roadmaps, and news & views on the latest progress in catalysis research.
We welcome both invited and spontaneous review manuscripts.
For spontaneous reviews, a concise proposal should be submitted first for the Editor's consideration before the full-length manuscript submission.
