The Lahore Journal of Economics aims to add to the understanding of the workings of developing economies, with a particular emphasis on South Asia.

The LJE invites researchers, policy makers and analysts to submit original theoretical and empirical papers that explore and contribute to the understanding of various areas in the economics domain.

The Journal aims at bringing together state-of-art research findings, particularly from emerging markets, in various economics disciplines, including (but not limited to) the following: Education Health Employment Economic growth Productivity Financial Markets International Trade and Finance Political Economy Public Finance.
