Aims & Scope

The Journal of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (JISPRM) is the official Journal of the International Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine which is a global professional organization of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (PRM).

The journal aims to advance scientific knowledge in the field by promoting disability advocacy, optimal functioning, health-related quality of life, and rehabilitation research in all aspects including rehabilitation therapies such as physical and occupational therapy.

JISPRM will seek to encourage cross-fertilization among basic, translational and clinical researchers.

The journal is targeted to practitioners of PRM that include physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and other allied health colleagues that collectively embody the collaborative spirit of the practice of PRM.​
