Aims & Scope
The Journal looks to reach out to cardiologists, physicians, intensive care specialists, cardiac anesthesiologists, pulmonologists, pediatricians, general practitioners practicing echocardiography, sonographers, cardiac radiologists, nuclear medicine specialists in cardiac imaging and to all those who are interested in cardiac imaging for readership and at the same time looks forward to scientific contributions from them. All manuscripts related to non-invasive cardiac imaging such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiac imaging, computed tomography and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging are welcome.
The manuscripts involving invasive imaging which also have echocardiography or other forms of non-invasive cardiac imaging as an integral part are also invited.
However, those manuscripts which are based solely on invasive coronary imaging are outside the scope of the journal. Following categories of articles are invited- original research articles, systematic as well as narrative reviews, contemporary reviews, reviews on fundamentals of echocardiography, case reports, interesting images, CMEs, quizzes and letters to editor.
Suitable articles on both clinical and non-clinical original research primarily in the field of echocardiography and other modalities of cardiac imaging are welcome.
Animal studies are however, not considered for publication. Apart from the above, the Journal also regularly publishes clinical practice guidelines developed by IAE and when feasible, those developed by other leading imaging societies of the world.
