Aims & Scope
The Journal of Light and Visual Environment (JLVE), established in 1977 by The Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan (IEIJ), has changed its name to the Journal of Science and Technology in Lighting (JSTL) in 2017.
The new name of the journal is intended to show much more clearly that all fields and matters related to science and technology in lighting ranging from light generation through to applications are within the scope.
JSTL will be developing further its international role in the publication of light source and lighting related works.
