The Journal of Pediatrics: X is the open access companion journal of The Journal of Pediatrics and has the same aims and scope, editorial board and peer-review process.
The Journal of Pediatrics: X aims to advance pediatric research and serve as a practical guide for pediatricians who manage health, and diagnose and treat disorders in infants, children, and adolescents.
The Journal seeks to publish original work based on standards of excellence and expert review, and to publish high quality original articles that are immediately applicable to practice (basic science, translational research, evidence-based medicine), brief clinical and laboratory case reports, medical progress, expert commentary, grand rounds, insightful editorials, "classic" physical examinations, and novel insights into clinical and academic pediatric medicine related to every aspect of child health.
Launching in 2019, The Journal of Pediatrics: X will promote the latest developments in pediatric medicine, child health, policy, and advocacy with all accepted articles immediately and permanently free for everyone to read and download.
The Journal of Pediatrics: X offers authors with high-quality research who want to publish in a gold open access journal the opportunity to make their work immediately, permanently, and freely accessible.
