Aims & Scope

The Journal of Nursing and Healthcare Research (JNHR) is a major peer-reviewed Chinese-language research journal for Taiwan and the Asian region.

It was established as the Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA)・s main peer-reviewed Chinese-language nursing research journal following the transition of our flagship journal.

Its content comprises original articles and systematic literature reviews related to nursing, health management and healthcare, providing a channel for communication in research and academic endeavor between different fields, in order to facilitate interdisciplinary collaboration and enhance the quality of patient care.

JNHR thus constitutes an important source of reference materials on cross-cultural healthcare research for ethnic Chinese.

The JNHR is the successor of the Journal of Evidence-Based Nursing (JEBN, published March 2005 and December 2008).

Reflecting a professional scope broader than implied by its predecessor, JNHR relaunched in March 2009 with an important new mission as a forum for the presentation and discussion of research methods in nursing and healthcare.
