Aims & Scope
The Journal of Medicinal Plants for Economic Development (JOMPED) is the official publication of the Society for Medicinal Plants and Economic Development.
It is dedicated to the dissemination of research information on the use of plants and plant products for economic and social development especially in the developing world.
It publishes original research papers, critical reviews and communications on the latest developments in phytomedicine with strong emphasis on originality and scientific quality.
Research findings in phytopharmacognosy, natural product research, herbal technology, phytochemistry, metagenomics of medicinal plants and toxicology that highlight economic development are considered for publication following critical and constructive review process.
