Aims & Scope

The Journal of Liver Transplantation is a peer-reviewed gold open-access e-only publication in the field of liver transplantation publishing research articles on clinical, experimental liver transplantation, combined liver and other organ transplantation, cell and gene therapy in liver diseases.

The editors will give special attention to articles on management of patients with severe liver diseases (awaiting or not liver transplantation), such as the management in ICU, TIPS, replacement procedures (MARS, hemodialysis).

The journal welcomes original research articles, reviews, seminars and meta-analyses, case reports, viewpoints and letters.
