Aims & Scope

The human population has reached 8 billion (more than double what it was in 1970) and is expected to exceed 10 billion by 2050.

The problems, all tied to human consumption and population growth, will almost certainly worsen over the coming decades.

This leads to more food insecurity, climate change, loss of farms and wildlands, the unfortunate link between pollution and poverty, and biodiversity loss, which are but a subset of the earth and human interactions that are an active part of the most important issues that will determine the future of human beings this century.

Journal of Human, Earth, and Future is a multidisciplinary, an open-access, internationally double-blind peer-reviewed journal with a focus on practical applications of theory, research, and experience.
